From frustration to product
It started with a 40 MB PDF that needed to be under 10 MB for an email attachment. Every tool we tried either added watermarks, required a paid subscription, or uploaded files to servers with vague privacy policies. So we built our own.
What began as an internal tool quickly grew into something we wanted to share with the world. In January 2022, PDFCrush launched publicly. Within six months, over a million files had been processed. Today, we serve millions of users across 180+ countries every month.
We're a small, focused team that cares deeply about the craft of building great software. We're fully independent — no VC funding, no data monetisation, no agenda beyond building the best PDF toolset on the internet.
